One of the most common questions I get asked from potential clients, friends and family is, 'can you make me slimmer?' Or a variation of.

What a question. Its a valid question, it means something, its personal, so how do you respond?

Always, and probably annoyingly to the originator, I respond with another question, which turns into another question, and another question and this goes on until I know exactly what they mean and what they want.

What does slimmer mean to you?

Why do you want to lose weight?

How motivated are you?

What have you tried already?

Are you prepared to change your lifestyle?

That last question is a corker, 99% of the time the answer is an emphatic YES. 99% say 'whatever it takes'. But when push comes to shove, thats where the difficulty is. When you dig a little deeper into habits and lifestyle some of the responses are;

But....I have a family But....I work away But....I only have time for takeaway But....I can only work out once a week But....I like a drink at the weekend But....I like my movie snacks

Coaches exist to help people on their journey of change or improvement. We provide information, advice, help to create healthier habits, direction setting and we hold people to account. What we can't do is make the changes for you. We are not with you 100% of the time. In order to see a change in anything, your body, your business, your decor, your cooking skills, then you must make a change, whether thats sacrifing a couple of drinking sessions in a month, or spending a couple of hours meal prepping for the family, or reducing unhealthy snack availability.

So, if you're ready to really make a few changes, the answer is yes, 'I can make you slimmer'. If you're not ready to change, then no, I can't. But what I can do is help you on the journey to get ready to change.

Drop me a quick note if you'd like to know more about online training opportunities to help you change your habits and body......launching soon.
