New Year Resolutions. Do you make one? Here's some facts:

80% of resolutions forgotten about by February 8% of people carry through on their resolution for the full year. Here's some tips on how to achieve yours. 1) Find your why- what do you want to change? Why? Drill down on your why. Scroll through this page to just before Christmas and you'll find a useful video 2) Don't try and change 5 things at once! Below are 5 huge things. Try do all of these at once and you'll blow a gasket. Prioritise the top 2 or 3, find your why for each one and implement very tiny small things one at a time. Sure, you might not lose 3 stone in a month but you won't gain 4 stone back. ✔️Lose weight ✔️Get fit ✔️Self development ✔️Spend less time of social media ✔️Get a new job 3) Identify your blockers, might be family who encourage takeaways and meals out, might be friends who want your to get rat arsed with them every weekend, might be situations or work that asks you to work late when you have a fitness class booked. Take some time to workout how you deal with them, set some mini targets like going out for 1 less meal a week or 1 less night out a month. 4) Be honest with yourself. Don't blame others for something you have control over, eating all the chocolate, skipping your workouts for 2 weeks, not applying for jobs. 5) Be consistent- it takes weeks and weeks for habits to change, be patient, be honest, make changes, do them daily. If you balls it one day, just start again at your next meal, next day, next meeting- whatever it is. 🐧 Making changes in your life is hard 🐧 Changing habits is hard 🐧 Make it as easy as you can You'll find it much more achievable than saying 'I am going to go to the gym 5 days a week, eat chicken salad everyday, doing a course on quantum physics, learning to knit' (think of all the stress hormones kicking off when trying to do all those things- that's why it's pretty impossible to do everything) Got an idea in your head of what you want to achieve but don;t know where to start? Drop me a message and I will help you with some tiny changes to start you off.
